Secured by Design
The UK Police have an initiative known as Secured by Design – often shortened to SBD. This scheme promotes design that reduces the chance of opportunistic crime being successful. Secured by Design products can more easily withstand attack and can accommodate high security locking systems.
No security measures will defeat the most determined burglar, but with Secured by Design standards protecting your home, you’re in a much better position. With some insurers, it can even make a difference to your premiums.
The profile systems we use have this accreditation, and we manufacture our products to meet Secured by Design standards.
