Replacement Glazing
It’s rare that a full window has to be replaced because of a fault with the glass. Even if a pane is completely fogged up, windows can be given a new lease of life with a new sealed unit. And the good news is that modern sealed units are much more reliable and energy efficient than they were in the past.
Upgrading
Choosing to replace just the glass is a great alternative to replacing a whole window system. Modern glazing uses simple beads that hold the glass units firmly in place and if you want to upgrade to more energy efficient glass, it’s possible without disturbing décor or plasterwork.
- Upgrade to low-emissivity or solar-control glass
- Replace fogged, cracked or damaged sealed units
- Switch from double to triple glazing
- Add decorative, patterned, etched or leaded glass.
